Typical process
Toy returns on mixed pallets
Mixed toy returns, some with opened packaging: completeness, season and labelling decide how the lot is described.
A typical process for orientation, not a customer project. Quantities, condition and timing differ from lot to lot.
Starting point
A toy retailer has return pallets after a busy season. The goods are mixed, and the packaging of some items has been opened. Not every game or set is still complete.
A typical lot
- Mixed toy and board game returns
- Partly opened packaging
- Sets and games with possibly missing parts
- Seasonal goods, for example Christmas ranges

- 04
Collection of the pallets
The pallets are collected within 3 working days of the agreement, with transport included.
What matters
- Say how many items are opened or incomplete. Completeness has a direct effect on the price.
- Age and safety marking remains a matter for the manufacturer or seller. Leave existing labels and instructions with the goods.
- Seasonal goods sell best ahead of the relevant season, so offer them in good time.
- Photos of typical opened items, as well as of the pallets, show the real condition of the lot.
